Milo's blessing, Devan's graduation, & more

This past month has been pretty exciting for us. We blessed Milo towards the beginning of April and he behaved perfectly. He has been a great baby so farhealthy and happy. Adeline is still as sweet as can be and gets funner and funnier everyday. Erin is doing great and is excited that garage sale season is back. I survived the end of the MBA program and graduated last week. I had a great time, learned a lot, and met some incredible people. I'm excited to find a job and start the next stage of life, but it is a little sad to have to say goodbye to some good friends.

Here is Milo ready for his blessing and some other pics of fun little guy.

Now the Adeline section.

She loves to paint and color with her markershere is a sampling of her work.

Here's a spring photo shoot. She loves playing with sticks.

The silly shot.

She can do silly, she can do serious, and in this picture we see she can even do silly-serious. America's Next Top Model here she comes.

I'm not sure what this look is, but I just think it's a funny picture.

Our neighbors put their trampoline up a few weeks ago and now she loves to jump. We took her to Kangaroo Zoo this last week because the weather has been bad and she loved it.

She did a great job climbing in, around, and on top of the inflatables and she loved this one with the yellow slide.

She was hilarious in this little area. She loved jumping on the little humps of the sea monster, but she misjudged it a little on this one...still fun though.

She gets the jump right on this one, but Nessy gets her revenge when the hump knocks her over at the end.

Here are some photos from my graduation.

Erin's sister, Sarah, graduated on the same day so we got a picture with her and her husband, Cory.

The last little while

Life around here has been business as usual for the most part. Milo is growing and changing a little bit every day. He's a great baby and loves to smile. Adeline is as fun and creative as ever and always seems to make us laugh. Erin and I are doing great and we can't believe how fast school is coming to an end. Real life will be here again before we know it.

Before the photos here is a song Adeline made up while "helping" Erin put clothes away in her room. She called it her "Love Song."

Clothes, clothes, clothes, underwear

And now some pics from the last several weeks.

Adeline got a new dress for Spring and we decided to do a little photoshoot.

I caught her mid jump on this one.

Adeline and I decided to put on a little puppet show for Erin and Milo. You can tell by the stage it was a fairly low budget production.

We got 6-7 inches of snow the other day so we decided we'd finally put our snow gear to good use. It was Adeline's first snowman so I decided we'd better do it right and go tall, tall, tall. He is now melting, melting, melting in the nice sunshine.

We had a few extra minutes before a gymnastics meet one night so we stopped by the MBA lounge to feed Milo. We now know that Adeline loves to rock.

A couple weeks ago I got the chance to drive up to Vancouver with some friends to go to a couple Olympic hockey games. It was a long drive and short stay, but it was awesome! This is me, Andrew, and Dave prior to the first USA vs Canada hockey game.

Notice the change of expression on Andrew's face (although I guess he got the last laugh). We had great seats on the 6th row at the blue line. The game was fantastic and I'm very glad Erin made me go.

A 5 video update!

Milo is four weeks old today and doing great. He's grown a lot already and definitely helps keep Erin's days (and nights) busier. He's been a great baby so far and we're glad to have him as part of the family. Adeline has been a great big sister and is always very willing to help. She's as crazy and fun as always as you'll be able to see in the videos. School hasn't been as busy for me so it has been nice to spend a little more time helping out at home. Erin is staying busy with the kids and is doing great. Anyway, on with the pics.

As you can see, Adeline has adjusted well to having Milo around and has enjoyed brother-sister picture time.

Adeline loves putting our all sports passes to good use. We've been to basketball and volleyball games and this is Adeline at the women's gymnastics meet. She loves her BYU sign and new pom pom.

And now to the videos. No offense to Milo, but his videos just aren't that exciting right now so this is Adeline's time to shine. Some of them get a little long, but I think they're funny and they show her creativity and silliness.

I think she's gotten the hang of the "I love you" thing.

I love it when she's in a silly mood like this. I also love the half eaten food hanging out of her mouth.

Adeline is very independent and will just go off and do her own thing. Luckily she never tries to run away or goes too far. She loved to dance to the music at the volleyball game...I think we may have a little tap dancer in training (maybe she can make up for her dad's B+).

This one may be a little long for some, but I think it's great. Adeline loves her Little People and she wanted to play with them in her crib. Without her knowing I snuck in and got her fun and games on video. She finally catches me at the end.

Adeline definitely enjoys her books. We hadn't looked at these ones for months but she still flew right through them. She even gets xylophone if you listen close and you gotta love that yo-yo (I didn't know she even knew what those were).

Party of Four

Just wanted to post some more pics of the last few days. School starts back up tomorrow so we wanted to get you some more pics in case you don't hear from us for a while. We're all doing great and adjusting to life with our latest addition. Milo's been doing very well and Adeline is handling her new big sister role great. Erin is feeling surprisingly well and is happy to feel more like her old self. We've had a great couple of weeks together as a family and it will be hard for my last Christmas break as a student to end. Anyway, on with the pics.

Adeline put all her necklaces and strings on and said "I'm a Christmas tree."

Something leads me to believe these two are related.

Our New Year's family picture before taking down our Christmas tree. Something about the timer on the camera got Adeline to actually sit and pose as can be seen by the last two pics.

We're trying to make sure Adeline doesn't get neglected with Milo's arrival—luckily she's fairly easy to entertain. One of her favorite activities is simply running outside.
